At its annual September event, Apple introduced three new iPhone models the iPhone XS (pronounced "ten-ess" not "ex-ess"), iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR (pronounced "ten-are" not "ex-are"). The new models are successors to last year's iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
Images of the alleged Nokia 9 and Nokia X7 have leaked online, hinting at displays without the notch. Nokia 9, HMD Global's allegedly upcoming flagship, has been a part of the rumour mill for some time now. While most of the previous leaks have claimed to show the back panel of the handset, the freshly leaked image of the smartphone's display panel shows its design at the front. Meanwhile, the front panel of another Nokia handset, allegedly called Nokia X7, has also surfaced on the Internet. Interestingly, unlike the Nokia X5 and Nokia X6, the Nokia X7 does not seem to house a display notch.
The Shenzhen-based mobile maker Huawei is here with another flash sale of the Iris Purple variant of its Huawei Nova 3i. The smartphone will be available on Amazon at 12pm today. Interested buyers must head to the e-tailer’s site to grab one for themselves.
The radical changes came with the iPhone X last year. So, while the elegant new iPhone XS Max that I’ve been testing since Wednesday (along with the XS) has, by far, the largest display and is the most expensive and best iPhone ever, Apple’s latest handsets, good as they are, don’t move the needle all that much.
